HSC 2027 & HSC 2028 • BANGLADESH (ALL GENERAL BOARDS) A+ Roadmap — Accounting 1st Paper Subject Code 253 Questions 1 and 2 are compulsory financial statement questions. This roadmap shows what to study, in what order, and how to write it. What this document is. A 14-month study plan, chapter priority map and exam-technique manual for this paper. It does not teach the syllabus content — your NCTB textbook and guide book already do that. It tells you what to study, in what order, how deep, and how to write it in the exam hall. Accounting 1st Paper (253) HSC 2027 & 2028 — A+ Roadmap 1. Read This First Accounting 1st Paper is a skill paper, not a memory paper. About 70 of the 100 marks come from the creative part. Every creative part is a sum, a statement or a set of entries. That has three results for your plan: 1. Reading a chapter is not studying it. A chapter is finished when you can solve a fresh board problem from it. Do it alone, on paper, inside the time limit. 2. Marks are lost on format, not on logic. Many students know the chapter and still lose 2 or 3 marks per question. They miss the three-line heading, the date wording or the working notes. These are the cheapest marks to win back. 3. The chapters build on each other. Chapter 2 feeds Chapters 4 and 7. Those feed Chapter 9. A weak Chapter 2 costs marks in many later chapters. Do not move on from a weak base. What A+ actually requires in this paper A mark of 80 or more gives A+ in this subject. A realistic target is 26–28 out of 30 in MCQ and 55–60 out of 70 in CQ. You do not need perfect answers. You need seven complete, well-formatted answers. Two of the seven are fixed: Questions 1 and 2. Completion beats brilliance in this paper. 2. Exam Bl

Part Marks Level What the examiner wants (a) 2 Easy One figure from the stem, such as the bad debt expense, net purchases or opening capital (b) 4 Medium One statement, account or set of entries, such as a cash book or a bank reconciliation (c) 4 Hard A second statement or account. Often a new fact is given, such as a net profit Every part is a sum or a format. Opinion parts are rare. Do not write theory where the question wants figures. Follow the marks printed on your paper The board prints the marks for each part. In 2025 one board printed 3 marks for part (b). Follow the paper in front of you. Part (a) is short, but do not rush it Part (a) is a small sum, usually two to four lines. Write the formula, put in the figures from the stem and write the answer with Tk. Do not guess the figure. Which five of the other nine Questions 1 and 2 are fixed. Choose the other five in the first five minutes: 1. Read all nine stems. Mark each one Yes / Maybe / No in the margin. 2. Pick the five where you are sure of the forma
